We’re so excited to announce our Calendar Competition! If you’re handy with a camera, or enjoy taking pictures of your walks and adventures in nature at Caerhays, then please read on, because this competition is for you!

See your photo featured in the 2025 Caerhays Castle Spring Gardens Calendar

Our 2025 calendar is a celebration of the growth and bloom of the 2024 season, and will reflect our captivating spring gardens in all their glory!

Fourteen sensational spring photographs will be selected to feature in the 2025 Caerhays Calendar, one for each month and then the front and back covers. The calendar will be sold online and in the Caerhays Garden gift shop on the estate, and will adorn many a wall across the nation.

We want to see Caerhays Castle Spring Gardens through your eyes, and experience our beautiful surroundings as you do. Let’s explore what a journey around Caerhays gardens looks like to our wonderful guests. We’re interested in the angles that appeal, where your creativity and imagination lead, and how you feel the Caerhays story can best be told through photography.

Win a ‘2025 season pass for 2’ + a fully loaded goodie bag

The calendar will include fourteen images, so there are fourteen chances to win!

As you wander through Caerhays Castle Spring Gardens, document your experience and the amazing flora and fauna you witness. If you discover an interesting vantage point, find yourself bathed in artistic shadows or chance upon a slice of the gardens that surprises you, please share it with us.

We will be selecting fourteen winners, who will each see their photo printed in our Calendar.
We will also choose an overall winner, whose photo will take pride of place on our Calendar’s front cover, and this winner will receive a Goodie Bag PLUS a ‘2025 Season Pass for 2’!

Enter the competition with your favourite photos from 2024

This competition is open to everyone, regardless of your knowledge of the gardens or your experience in photography.
We are especially keen to encourage our younger garden visitors to enter, and hope that at least one (if not more) of our winners will be a junior photographer under the age of 16. So if you’re a young person with a flair for photography, we warmly invite you to come and explore Caerhays gardens this year, and help us see the gardens through your youthful lens.

How to enter the calendar competition

The competition will run from February 12th – June 16th 2024.

You can share your image on social media using the hashtag #caerhayscalendarcompetition2025 and tag @caerhays_castle_and _gardens. Don’t forget to find us on Facebook and Instagram!

Alternatively email your photo to enquries@caerhays.co.uk and title your email “Caerhays Calendar Competition”, please remember to include your name.

Here’s why you should enter our Calendar Competition!

Visiting Caerhays is an absolute must this Spring, and we would love you to get involved in the spirit of our lovely competition. Be part of the narrative of Caerhays, and have your photograph immortalised as part of our glossy 2025 calendar which goes all around the world!

We are proud to showcase a 140-acre garden offering a combination of spring displays of stunning magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias as well as a huge range of rare woodland trees and shrubs. Caerhays is blessed to have some of the best magnolias you are likely to find anywhere, and with so many enchanting and meandering paths and viewpoints, we are very excited to see what captures your eye! You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to photo opportunities.

Competition Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the Caerhays Castle Spring Gardens Photography Competition. By accepting the terms & conditions of the competition and subsequently submitting your images, you have entered into an agreement with Caerhays Castle Spring Gardens.

Competition entry

You agree that if you’re a winner you will take part in and cooperate fully with the use of your photograph (and your name) in the 2025 Caerhays Castle Spring Garden Calendar.

If you are under the age of 16 you must have permission to enter from your parent or guardian. By entering the competition, your parent/carer/guardian is deemed to have given such consent.

The closing date for submissions is 16th June 2024.

Caerhays cannot be held responsible for emails that do not arrive due to the entrant’s email settings or technical restrictions.

There will be one overall winner, who will see their photo grace the front cover of the 2025 Caerhays calendar, and they will receive a 2025 Caerhays season pass for 2 + a goodie bag.

The remaining 13 winners will see their photo in print and receive a goodie bag.

Photographs must be taken this year, between February and June 2024.

We are accepting photos of the Caerhays Castle and Gardens only. Internal photos will not be considered, nor will any photos of people or pets.

High res photos will be required for inclusion in the calendar.

Please note that winning photos may be cropped for use.

Caerhays has the rights to use any photo submitted into the competition on social media, their website or for promotion of the competition.

Caerhays has the rights to use any photo submitted for further promotional use in the future.
