Interesting magnolias to see this week

Charles in the garden hoping to tempt you to visit Caerhays this week, amongst the many magnolias in flower are three featured in this video.

First off is a cross which he calls ‘Vulcan’ but is actually ‘??’! It’s a cross between M. ‘Felix Jury’ & M. ‘Atlas’.
Next up is a pink cross called M. ‘Shirazz’ which is crossed between M. denudata & M. Vulcan.

Lastly a lovely which called M. ‘Albatross’ which is a cross between M. cylindrica & M. veitchii ‘Peter Veitch’.
