As the seasons gently turn and the vibrant colours of spring begin to mellow into the warmth of early summer, there is no better time to enjoy the beauty of Caerhays Castle & Gardens.
This year, we’re delighted to invite you to our much-anticipated Summer Fete on 14th June 2026, a joyful celebration set against one of Cornwall’s most breathtaking backdrops.
A classic summer fete, something for everyone
Whether you’re planning a family day out, meeting friends, or simply looking to soak up the atmosphere, this year’s Fete promises a full day of fun, laughter and community spirit.
Expect a lively mix of:
- Live entertainment and music
- Traditional games for all ages
- A full craft tent with many exciting stalls
- A vibrant flower show celebrating ‘Clubs and Societies of Cornwall’ at Caerhays Church
- A crowd-favourite fun dog show
- And circus workshops where you can try something a little different
Alongside this, there will be delicious food stands and a well-stocked bar.

Supporting an Incredible Cause
At the heart of this event is a cause that truly matters. All funds raised will go to the Merlin Neuro Therapy Centre, a vital Cornish charity making a meaningful difference to the lives of people with neurological differences.
The Merlin Centre is a warm, welcoming space dedicated to supporting people of all ages living with neurological conditions and neurodiversities. Through subsidised therapies, specialist support, and accessible information, they help individuals improve both their physical and mental wellbeing in a safe and supportive environment.
Their work touches the lives of adults, young people, and children across Mid-Cornwall, offering them community, understanding and hope.
