The Gardens are open to the public from the 12th February – 16th June 2024.

Charles Williams was interviewed on Thursday 14th February 2019 by ITV to comment on the official arrival of spring in Cornwall. This is traditionally marked by each of the Great Gardens of Cornwall having 50 or more blooms out on a Magnolia campbellii. It is officially spring when the last Great Garden has 50 blooms on their tree. Cornwall had been waiting for Trewithen garden and Heligan garden this year and their final flowers came in bloom on Valentine’s Day.

Trewidden Gardens – 1 February

Trebah Garden – 3 February

Caerhays Castle Gardens – 7 February

Tregothnan Garden – 13 February

Trewithen Garden – 14 February

The Lost Gardens of Heligan – 14 February
