Unusual Evergreen Shrubs at Caerhays

Lecture by Charles Williams at Caerhays Castle
Charles Williams (owner) will give the lecture and conduct the garden tour. The lecture will concentrate on cut material from a range of very rare and unusual evergreen plants before an extended tour of the gardens to view these plants in situ. In particular the tour will focus on evergreen oaks and other fagaceae, unusual hollies, evergreen magnoliaceae and evergreen acers.

Coffee/tea served in the Georgian Hall from 9.30am. Bring appropriate clothing and footwear for garden tour.

Lecture starts – 10am prompt

Finish approx. – 1pm

Lunch is not included in the price but meals are available in the tea rooms within the castle.
